Busy kids love things that are new and different.

Welcome to Busy Boys Mama at School Website

I am so excited to share how I homeschool my busy kid and how you can too.

Having active kids that are creative and enjoy a challenge is a blessing. However, I have found it comes with many challenges. Through trial and error, and with a little ‘out of the box’ thinking, we can meet the challenge. For example, finding the most engaging and brief videos to teach, takes a lot of prep time. I have sifted through countless videos to find ones that either excite, surprise, are humorous, or in some way engaging. Check out one of our American history lesson plans here.

Please join our email list and get weekly updates on curriculum lesson plans. These plans will always include interesting YouTube videos from talented content creators, and uniquely designed activities and worksheets to couple with the videos. Our busy kids will find these activities engaging. Our young students already love YouTube. As a result, I have found using YouTube videos to teach to be very helpful.

American history is an example of a subject that can be presented in a much better fashion to capture our children’s attention. It’s full of intriguing stories that include clever deception, unexpected outcomes, and inspiring tales of bravery. It just needs to be presented in a way that our digitally experienced, busy kids can absorb.

I look forward to hearing your thoughts or just sharing what I have learned with you.

Let’s engage our busy kids and teach them to think and reason on what they learn. We can teach them to become creative thinkers. Likewise, we can show our kids how to learn from these talented and dedicated professionals. So many have crafted videos and posted them on YouTube for everyone to benefit.

I hope you enjoy these posts and are able to find them useful. It is my sincere hope that you use them as a gateway to finding many more useful videos online for your busy kids to use in their educational journey in life.

Thank you to all the talented content creators.

Join me in thanking all of the content creators that have devoted years of their life to the study of their fields. They have chosen to use their creative talents and knowledge to build content that can excite, engage, stimulate, and hopefully inspire our next generation of citizens.
